We have shiplap weatherboard on our house. It's looking patchy and like it needs recoating. We are wondering what needs doing?
Does it need sanding before recoating? Currently it's stained. If we choose to paint it, can we then stain it later? Or does painting it mean we can't go back to treated wood later.
I'm asking here because advice from trades people is varying. So I'm trying to work out who is reliable and what we need to do.
