Rightmove - "off the market"

EmmaEmerald · 04/05/2023 12:32

I have noticed that an awful lot of properties are listed as this on Rightmove, especially in the area I'm trying to sell.

is it taking time to catch up with sales or is it that they've all been unable to sell (barring exceptional circumstances?)

It means the estate agent has removed the listing from rightmove. Could mean that it's sold (depends on which box the agent ticked, from what I can work out), removed from sale or that they have decided to change agents.

As above, and I think you only see the greyed out ‘removed from market’ listing message if you put in the specific property URL.

Lots of houses I was due to view this weekend suddenly appeared like this and I was told it's because they had a software update and so had to manually re-add all the houses again. I imagine that's a less common reason though

oh wow
that's interesting because two flats in my building that are for sale are showing that way. The EA said they're still up for sale though.

but...I have seen it quite a few times over the last few months.
