Moss growing on bricks below DPC

I was doing some weeding today and noticed the amount of moss growing on the bricks on the outside of my house, seemingly only below the DPC as far as I can tell. I know it's been there for a while but only just thought about whether or not I should be doing something about it!

No leaky gutters or any other immediately obvious things like that. I do live close to a river and the road out the front is prone to quite regular flooding which may be an explanation for the cause.

It is around the entire house, but this is one of the worst bits. Most other areas have a lot less moss, and much more of the 'red paint' still intact.

Anyone have any idea if I should be treating this, and if so if it's something I could have a go at myself, or would a professional need to be called in?

I’d scrub it off and repaint, but I have no experience, I just think it needs a tidy up.
