Remortgaging with a new baby

Hello, I've read about childcare costs impacting new mortgages but what about remortgaging if you stay with your provider and do a rate switch? Assuming you don't need to provide updated info about your financial situation - is that right?

I've not with my provider.

You can do a product transfer with your current lender without going through any affordability checks. You can probably do it all online

Yes, you are correct. You xan switch with your current lender and if you don't make any changes then the checks aren't triggered. It should be very easy and quick to do.
