I have some pieces of original art in different media and thinking of painting a 22' long wall in a very dark green (with blue undertones) to display around 10-15 pieces, art gallery style. The frames are all different, so the wall will be the co-ordinating element bringing the paintings together.
The 'living room' (22'x20') is part of a fifty foot long open plan area consisting of a dining area at one end, tv viewing area in the middle and a living area with two walls of glass at the other end, so lots of light.
This area also has orchids, a 7' tall asparagus fern and a couple of other plants. Leather suite is dark green, like the paint I'm thinking of using.
All the other walls will be painted in a white with green undertones. Floor is beech and scattered with oriental rugs in various sizes.
I haven't sourced the paint yet as these are just ideas.
Should the entire LR area be in the same colour?
A pale cream instead of white to go with the green?
Yea or nay and suggestions to find the green paint?
The green I'm think of is similar to Dollar Bill Green on this website
