I have my eyes on this crosswater black shower head with hand shower but I am not sure about the hand shower as it looks so thin? Does anyone have experience of this hand shower? Also is the hand shower head replaceable?

also any other alternative brands we should look at if we going for black?

thanks in advance!

We have this one, what do you want to know about it? No idea if the head is replaceable though!

We have the exact same one. It’s fine! How can I help?

MulberryDerry · 24/04/2023 10:57

We don't have this exact one but a similar type of a tap. I find it is difficult to turn it with soapy hands and regulate the temperature/pressure. I wish we had smth less modern.

@Flowerie
We have almost the same from Crosswater in chrome. Hard water area! It has quite a firm jet but great for hair! It’s solid and well built. You can get a wider “flower”
head if you want one.

Have had this one regionally and really liked it www.lussostone.com/showers-c6/shower-sets-c24/thermostatic-shower-with-handheld-shower-matte-black-p511

Recently!

Thanks so much all! I'm just concern that the thin shower head coverage will be narrow when you choose to use only the hand held shower rather than use the overhead shower head (e.g if I didnt want to wash my hair). @Merrow - do you find this an issue?

@TizerorFizz - thank you for your reply! Do you know if I can simply replace the shower head if it doesn't work out with another?

Thanks @YesThisIsMe for the feedback, that's our concern as well that it won't be a proper shower. Thanks for the link, my DH only wants it in black which doesn't have much choices - it seems that not many brands come in black besides Hansgrohe or Crosswater

I wouldn't want to wash with just it - it's more a concentrated spray than a smaller shower style dispersal. Shower cap?

TizerorFizz · 24/04/2023 17:09

@Flowerie
These can be fitted and are bigger shower heads. However they are not like a bigger drench type shower. However are bigger than the small hand held. I think black very much reduces options but the secondary showers are usually more “directional”
for a single area wash!
