Remote controls.
Cat toys
Books although that's dh's opinion. In mine it's an impossibility.

Justleaveitblankthen · 23/04/2023 00:27

At 10am, reading glasses and pens. By midday they have all disappeared around the house..

kingofchaos · 23/04/2023 08:31

Colourful stuff

Giggorata · 23/04/2023 08:33

Books, dust and sometimes dogs.

Dollmeup · 23/04/2023 08:35

Candles. I don't even like the bloody things but people keep buying them as presents!

DrySherry · 23/04/2023 09:26

Arguments..

No I jest - mostly I have those on my own stood at the sink ;)

Eyesopenwideawake · 23/04/2023 09:27

Dogs.

HelpMeGetThrough · 23/04/2023 09:34

Nothing. Hate clutter and things out of place, so it's tidy.

I suppose if there is one thing a find a lot of, it's my OH hair bands, they breed!!! Guaranteed to find them in chairs or on the window ledge.

clpsmum · 23/04/2023 09:47

Dust

echt · 23/04/2023 09:52

Books
Paintings/sculptures

Doobydoo · 23/04/2023 09:56

Apparently books..but I don't think so. Dog chews, candles and coal dust which appears within seconds of getting rid of it.

TheTurn0fTheScrew · 23/04/2023 10:00

Cats. Cat hair. Ruined upholstery Hmm.

UpUpUpU · 23/04/2023 10:05

Crumbs. It doesn’t matter how many times I vacuum and the robovac goes round, there are always crumbs!

SOMumm · 23/04/2023 10:09

sunlight streaming in although it isn’t warm outside

bare floor- to -ceiling -length -of -wall -shelves now,
all books, vases, plants etc., gone to family as
downsizing/decluttering/death cleaning etc.

also prominent is a large paper shredder to accommodate said decluttering
it is addictive
the wonderful buzzzzzzz sound, we are going through drawers looking
for more stuff to shred
we will have withdrawal twitches when we have shredded everything
it is totally liberating

packing boxes, cardboard and large plastic with lids
these are excellent as can see contents at a glance
differing piles of ‘stuff’
the cat, somewhere, hiding,
all glass decanters on window ledge, acting as prisms
colours dancing on white walls

Pedrosfluffybum · 23/04/2023 10:09

Lego
Books

WithyouFromDuskTilDawn · 23/04/2023 10:13

Seating, a huge u shaped sofa

Blankets/throws

Dog toys, they’re everywhere.

AhhSlippedOnMahBeansRitaaa · 23/04/2023 10:18

IKEA units full to bursting with toys.
Sofa cushions ... On the floor, because the floor is lava.

Karmatime · 23/04/2023 10:19

Extension cables, we are renting a flat without enough sockets and the ones that do exist are in the wrong place. It is even more annoying in the kitchen.

RoseMartha · 23/04/2023 10:34

Books

ShowOfHands · 23/04/2023 10:49

Books. DD counted them recently and stopped at 2,000.

Quite a few blankets as well.

LibertyLily · 23/04/2023 11:22

Books, cushions*, taxidermy and art.

*Although by comparison to the house overall its not that many cushions - I've recently been having a clearout of them (one of my passions is fabric and cushions is one way to get loads of different patterned fabrics into the house!) and found we had 80+. I've got it down to just over 50 now.

viques · 23/04/2023 11:24

Books, dust bunnies, cat toys, places where the cat likes to sit. Piles of un sorted paperwork, well one pile actually, but it is tall……..

Petrarkanian · 23/04/2023 11:26

Playing Cards, I can see 6 packs from the sofa.

Isseywith3witchycats · 23/04/2023 12:47

WhatWouldHopperDo · 23/04/2023 12:50
