If we are using our sale proceeds (equity) as deposit for our next home will the solicitor transfer this directly to the developer's solicitor or will he transfer the balance to us for us to transfer over? I'm asking as in the sale questionnaire there was the option for telegraphic transfer for the balance of our sale proceeds so don't understand if this means we'll have to transfer this ourselves to the new build developer or not
