Surveyor recommendations - SE

Would anyone living in the SE (Hampshire/Sussex/Surrey borders) recommend a very thorough surveyor?

No, but I can recommend you avoid FP Surveying.

I had outlined two particular things I wanted looking at - the damp course level and the interior attic (which I hadn't viewed). For the damp course, they said 'usually it is X above the ground' and then described the materials used but not the height and whether it was acceptable. And in the attic,there was a photo of water ingress and mould that was really blurry. I asked for a better description of what I was looking at on the photo - how much of the area was covered. They just said back 'as per photo' and that was that. Not even a basic Windows paint plop a circle on it. I was pretty cross tbh, it was a reasonable question and they clearly couldn't care.
