Cheapest roofing material for car port

We have what was described as a car port when we bought the house; a roofed driveway.
The roof has asbestos in it, and is not in great shape, so I would like it removed.
In the long term we have plans for the car port to be improved, but in the short term I would like a cheap roofing solution. It doesn't need to be pretty, just functional. Would corrugated plastic be the cheapest way of doing it?

You would have to measure and price everything up.
We have a gazebo roofed in clear corrugated plastic from Wicks. So, for example The galvanised screws with caps were £23, flashing £35, roofing sheets around £100. It’s not all that big either tbh but it’s perfect to read a book under in a light drizzle so was worth the cost.

Polycarbonate roofing sheets and fixings were going to be double so corrugated worked out cheaper for us.

Thank you. Do you know if there are any other options?

Sorry, we only looked at polycarbonate roofing and the corrugated sheets.
