Bathroom planner for an accessible bathroom

We are going to renovate our garage to be a bedroom and ensuite for our disabled daughter. We have architect plans, a builder (and his tradesmen) lined up and OT recommendations. We'd like a bathroom designer who could design the bathroom to be practical but lovely. Can anyone recommend an independent designer please? If they have any experience in designing bathrooms suitable for disabled access that would be fab. Thanks

I can’t help but it is very annoying this is such a difficult area to find people in. Think sink you can sit at so not built in, and a suitable height, reachable shelves above and if you can, fit a drawers beside not under the sink, wide doors (centre opening), open shower entry obviously with no lip, plenty of room for turning circle, handrails and shower bench and detachable shower. Lower shower shelf.

You're right, this is such a difficult area to find help for and so important to get right. Thanks, this is helpful.

Speak to your local trade showroom, they are usually v knowledgeable & may have a contact?

Check out Fitzroy of London.
Their accessible bathroom designs are spectacular - I'm not 100% sure if they just design for commercial spaces but if nothing else will give you some ideas to make the bathroom beautiful as well as accessible
