Building budgets

We want to buy a 4 bed + home office with utility and 2+ loos this year but so does everyone. Last two houses have been new builds so I don’t even have ball park figures in mind for building work. Would £100k be enough to open-planify back 3 rooms of this ground floor, incorporate shower room/WC, convert garage to split and make half into home office and re do first floor bathroom of a house like this, for example?

All advice appreciated.

Where in the country, if you don’t plan to extend you should be in the right ball park, London might be more.

Can’t speak for NE but in London it would be more. It’s a matter of selling your kidney these days to do renovations. Which in the future will only put further upward pressure on house prices.

The whole situation is ridiculous.
