Worktop templating

Hello. I'd appreciate some advice please. I've never had worktops templated before so I'm completely new to this.

My kitchen has been fitted and templating is tomorrow. I've noticed that I will need a wider island worktop to ensure 30mm breakfast bar leg room. This will mean an increase in depth of about 5cm. Since quartz comes in large slabs and mine is smaller than the standard 1440, can I ask the templaters on the day to increase the size of the worktop? Obviously I'll have to pay more so that's not a concern. Any advice welcome. Thank you.

The folks doing the template will check with you as to what you require, it makes very little difference to them if you want an extra 5cm width providing it is not bigger than the slab. They should also give advice re overhangs, cut outs, upstand height, etc, etc.
