I'm planning to move in the next year or so and have been looking in Acton and Chiswick, which I like, but only because I know those areas already. I want to explore some areas that are new to me so am looking for suggestions for places that fit my criteria.
I'm in my 50s, one (adult) dc at home, ideally need 3 bedrooms, a small garden for my dog, under £900k, and good quick public transport into central London. I don't drive so need local amenities but more supermarket, park and library than schools, bars and night life.
I can live anywhere in London, but definitely don't want to move away and ideally would live in central London, but obviously the garden and number of bedrooms means I need to compromise on that. I live in Zone 5 at the moment but that was always a compromise -space for kids and near parents who are no longer around.
Any suggestions for locations I could look at in my price range, a nice community, good transport, local facilities?
