Bathroom in loft conversion or not?

Hi, we've got a slightly odd layout ( see attached floor plan) where we have 2 bathrooms next to each other. The bedroom with the boiler is now also a bathroom and the boiler has been relocated downstairs. All done by previous owner and I think their rationale was that it would remove the need to have a bathroom in any potential loft conversion.

We are looking to have a lift conversion next year and my instinct is it is better to have a bathroom on each floor.

We'd then need to convert one of the bathrooms on the floor plan to an office. The marked bathroom is tiny though, especially for what will be a 5/6 bedroom house. So what would you do with this layout please?

Def put a bathroom or shower room in the loft. We've just done ours and put a small shower room directly above the existing bathroom to just run the pipes straight up. It would be so annoying to traipse up and down the stairs for the loo in the middle of the night.

Could you keep bathroom with boiler as the main bathroom and turn the bathroom on the plan into the office? That's bigger than our existing box room that works fine as a small office for wfh 3x per week.

Thanks. That's definitely something to think about! The original bathroom has a bath in now so we would have to install a shower in the bath were we to keep it whereas the boiler bathroom only has a shower so would need rejigging to add a bath. Either way this is looking to be very expensive!

At the very least, I'd put in a toilet and sink. We have attic bedrooms (house was built with them) but no obvious place to put a bathroom and it is annoying that people have to traipse down in the night for the loo.

I agree, student homes I've lived in were the same, loo on middle floor and was a pain

Do get the water pressure checked out first. It was too low for a regular loo on our top floor.
