New sofa but what carpet and walls?

Hi all

as the subject heading suggests I am a bit stuck. New sofa - image attached- ordered. I do love it and was planning of stone coloured walls x 3, blue/grey and all where we have a wood burner and white ceiling and paintwork. Stuck with oak bookshelves in both alcoves but what floor?? Not sure I want a grey carpet and hubby doesn’t want wood or laminate …

anyone got any ideas?

We have something like that on the stairs and I do like it. It’s quite rough but there might be a softer version . I’ll take a look

@proppy It's quite nice isn't it? Not sure what it is exactly, it's in a Ben Pentreath interior, could be a custom mix, but to me it looks a lot like F&B Stone Blue?
