How do I pump water out of this small space?

Rainwater is collecting in the chamber below this window frame. We're still trying to disgnose why, but, in the meantime, need to remove the water every time it rains. I've been extracting it manually using a Calpol pipette but it takes a long time. I wonder if there is a better way? Hoping for suggestions.

A wet vacuum cleaner like a Karcher? Tube attached to a nasal aspirator?

Turkey baster?

Can you remove the wooden trim and put a towel down on the window sill? It will be best if you can be related the wet bit so it can dry out quicker and not rot

Just use a piece of sponge and keep squeezing it out.

If you have one of these, how small is the hose? It would need to be <13mm in diameter to fit through the holes into the chamber.

Yes, that's what I'm using currently. But there are litres of water so it takes a long time.

Could you siphon it? I assumed it was just the small metel but but if not I'd get a bucket, a thin tube and then siphon it out.

Just be careful and I'd try to find a method that doesn't involve sucking on the pipe...
