For me, yes. Its been comforting first thing in the morning when half awake.
I also have it in the bathroom my DSs use

How big is your ensuite and what is underneath it? And do you have any other heating in there?

We put electric underfloor heating in ours (I know its more expsensive to run than the usual type but it was very cheap to install) but its a small room. We have no other heating in there either. We have had it for about 5 years now. There are probably 5or 6 really cold days when we set it to come on every winter, but we don't use it otherwise. It helps that its above the kitchen which I think warms it, and only has a very small outside wall, so the rest is "insulated" by the house. It is lovely when it comes on though (I have been known to say to DH to put it on after an afternoon of watching children doing sports and my feet are freezing - obviously not the common use!!)

Our en suite is big. Around 4.5x3.5m. Underfloor heating is fantastic. We use it quite often. Every day in winter and now.

Nope.

In family bathroom and en-suite electric uf heating. . Also have radiators. Use it all winter as both have outside walls on 3 sides. It’s a small space so not expensive….well it might be more now..

We are having a loft conversion done at the moment and are going to put underfloor heating in the ensuite.

I would have underfloor heating in every room in the house if I could! Definitely worth it in my opinion

So good, it's luxury

I have electric ufh in my ensuite. I don't use it as I know it is expensive and I have a heated towel rail which warms the room brilliantly, plus a couple of bath mats to prevent bare feet on cold tiles.

I also don't have a consistent routine where I shower at the same time each day, so I can't rely on using the timer to keep the cost down. However, if I could benefit from setting the timer for an hour each morning, I would probably use it.

SilentHedges · 02/04/2023 16:57

Nope. My house already had it installed in the ensuite. I'm either in the shower, which is hot, or getting out (already warmed up) and don't need to hang about in there. Cost vs benefit means I never use it.

Meandfour · 02/04/2023 17:00

Absolutely worth it!

Tubbyinthehottub · 02/04/2023 17:03

I have it in mine but never use it. It's not that cold in there.

BillyDeanisnotmylover · 02/04/2023 17:20

Yes.
The prospect of stepping onto freezing cold tiles at 06.30 makes me switch off my alarm and go back to sleep.

Get some slippers and save yourself a fortune.
