Lacanche induction range

Hi,

does anyone here happen to have a Lacanche induction range around the 100cm width, so likely a Cluny or Macon? How do you find it? I’ve read lots of terrible reviews (amongst a lot of praise I should add…) but they seem to focus on gas rather than induction/electric oven combos. Any experience would be amazing!

I don't have a Lacanche but I do have a 100cm Rangemaster Elise induction and I absolutely love it!

Thank you! How long have you had it for? How are the ovens, do you bake a lot? I had looked at the Elise as well but kept getting put off by negative reviews... I suppose maybe most people leaving reviews online are having negative experiences with the happy customers not feeling the need to write reviews?

I've had it just over a year. It's utterly beautiful.

The induction hob is so easy to use. I'm a keen baker and the double ovens make it a breeze to bake.

I did have to buy different baking trays and tins to fit the narrower shelves in the right hand oven but there are loads of shelves which makes baking batches really easy.

I also like using the plate warming rack in that oven - and the swing out tray in the left hand side.

Would love to hear how you got on with your decision! We're currently struggling to decide between Rangemaster Elise 110 and the Lacanche Chagny - both with induction hob. Any thoughts or advice welcome! There's a significant cost and lead time difference with both but want to make the right decision long term. Both look beautiful.
