Anyone have any advice on how to get rid? Should I sand it? I’m not sure if they are water marks or hot mug marks!

Sanding it and refinishing it would be the nuclear option. Try mayonnaise first (yes really!) - coat the stains in mayo with some kitchen roll and leave it overnight, then rub away with a soft cloth the next day. Give it a polish and the marks should be reduced.

This is supposed to be good too, but I've not tried it:

Just wanted to say thank you as I tried the mayo and it has worked!!!

I put a bit too much on one area (or maybe left it on too long) and it’s gone a bit dark but the rest of table where I just used a small amount looks perfect so thank you!
