Has anyone used a firm to help them with the let property campaign?

If so, would you recommend them and how much were their fees?

What is the let properly campaign?

It's a HMRC system for landlords to pay tax.

Landlords do pay tax. The same as everyone else. Either income tax or company tax.

It’s usually when HMRC have identified landlords that haven’t been paying tax.

You don’t need a big firm for this - just google tax advisers/accountants in your area and ask for some quotes, or perhaps ask on a local Facebook group for recommendations (you don’t need to say it’s for the LPC!).

I’d wager not this landlord.
I think the important thing is for the landlord to contact HMRC before HMRC contacts the landlord.
