We are in need of a new bathroom.
It’s a small area which literally just fits a toilet, basin and bath with overhead wall shower supplied from the boiler.
I’m loathe to get rid of the bath but feel we would have a nicer bathroom with just a walk in shower where the bath currently is.
Can anyone recommend decent quality shower trays and/or baths. Also a good wall shower fitting please?
I don’t want to buy cheap and regret it.
We have nice wall tiles and I don’t really want to chip them all away and replaster. Would panels fitted over the bath area onto the tiles work do you think? Picked to match with the tiles on the opposite wall.
TIA

I think they do everything

@Lesvacances Duravit are excellent. Grohe make good taps. Mira are ok too. We also have Matki. A Sliding door that leaves a small entry space is useless. Go for a hinged door if you can. Get the thickest glass you can. Use big format tiles. Minimal grout. Baths use more water than a shower. Showers cost less energy to run. More efficient use of water.

Another vote for Duravit sanitary ware. Also Villeroy & Boch. Hansgrohe are better than Grohe for taps etc. Utopia good too.

Don’t think there’s a huge difference between Grohe and Hansgrohe. We have both. Well made snd no issues.,

unless you live with teenagers someone who spends a long time in the shower.

Lefroy Brookes is lovely and affordable.

Drummonds do beautiful bathrooms, slightly more the LB though.

Villeroy & Boch and Hansgrohe.
