Where to buy a wooden front door?

I am underwhelmed by all the composite doors I have found and they are all megabucks. I am wondering instead about a wooden door

Where do I buy one, what sort of price?

Thanks

There's off the shelf ones online - just Google wooden exterior doors and they'll come up. Or you can ask a local joiner. But our quotes were more expensive than a composite door. Depends if you need the surround replacing as well or just a door. Joiners we asked wouldn't consider fitting a second hand original door either. So the price will all depend on the type of door you want and whether you need to consider the surround as well.

Look at a local wooden window maker. They often make front doors as well.

I've bought several doors from directdoors.com they sell several of the major makers
You may need a joiner to hang it for you & fit the ironmongery
