Is a wall-mounted spice rack a 'fixture'?

I have a stupidly expensive, gorgeous spice rack; it cost about £150 and is fixed to the wall. Does it count as a fixture and have to be left when we move?

You will fill in an inventory about your home before you exchange contracts, where you indicate what you will and won’t be leaving in the house - blinds, curtains etc, room by room. You can add this item and say it will be removed with you.

Just make clear on the property info form that you're taking it.
If a spice rack is a fixture, so could be a shelf, a light fitting or whatever. People take them all the time. I doubt it will be a deal breaker either way!

No, you can take it. You should say so on the TA10 form.

You need to make good the holes if you take it, so,filler and match the paint up.

Ohhh, that’s lovely! I don’t think it’s a fixture. It’s like a picture - hung on the wall but easily removed.
