In the middle of nowhere, but still manages to be on a dangerous main road, straight as a ruler, for all the speed freaks and with little to no front garden.

I had to switch the video off. Jesus.

Yeah, this this is an extremely dangerous, very, very busy main road. The A5 goes from the top end of North Wales, right through to London and is one of the busiest, most dangerous A roads in the country. Probably more dangerous than some motorways to be honest with you.

I actually think it's a really nice house, but there's no way in hell that I'd buy it there. I did a quick Google search on this, and came up with a listing from only a month or so back where it was £750,000. So they dropped it by £50,000. That's a pretty big drop even on a £750,000 house.

You can see the traffic whizzing by really frequently and really fast at the front in that video they have on there. Also they promote the fact that it's got its own little business included in it. Well, maybe the person buying it doesn't want a 'little business.' I mean. I don't hate dogs, (don't love them, don't hate them, and am indifferent to them.) But even if I really liked them, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want a business grooming dogs. They go on as if it's a bonus, to get the business with it. Like it's increasing the value of the house or something.

I have to admit it is a nice property but no way in hell would I buy on that road. It is a dreadful position to be in and as I said earlier, I do wonder if used to be a pub or inn or something. It was almost certainly 2 homes before and has been joined into one. It was also built before the A5 was a horrendously busy dangerous road. Good luck to them selling it, but I think they're gonna struggle.

Only someone with plenty of money who wants a dog grooming business, and wants a property a bit off the beaten track, but also on a very busy main road will want it! As the pp said, it wouldn't be so bad if it had a 100 foot long front garden or something. There is literally nothing.

😂 There's another thread where people are horrified at the thought of the vendor showing them around. I'd pay good money to see them greeted with this 😂

And I'm going to be singing that all day now, with my own words as I do the housework 🙈🙉

those ceilings look like anyone over 5ft 8 would be very close to bumping their head my OH is 6ft 4 no good to us but lovely house

But the listing does say that the period features will HIT you and the beams are STUNNING... Certainly honest advertising

"As you enter this property the period features will really hit you. Stunning beams..."

I think she has a great voice and....Limahl sang the original song.
He was the lead singer of Kajagoogoo.
All of Kajagoogoo, bar Limahl, are from Leighton Buzzard!
Too much of a co-incidence surely?

He was a rent boy in London and got a leg up from Paul Gambaccini
