Where to move?

Hi all,

We are a mixed race family (Asian and white) with a 14 month old. After much looking we’ve whittled down our search to a few areas actually within our budget. Can anybody please give any advice on the areas (where to avoid, is there a community etc) below. Thank you!

Watford (nice parts of Watford please)

Reading
Chesham/Amersham

Watford is awful!

Try looking at Hemel (boxmoor area) or Berkhamsted as well.

Thank you Watford is actually convenient because of the met line for us. May I ask why it’s so awful? Sorry I’ve not really visited went many years ago but don’t know much about it.

Watford has two good grammar schools and a useful shopping center. Apart from that the area is very drab.

traffic In Watford is terrible. Cassiobury park is a lovely park but the splash park gets very busy in summer
