4.3M for this and right on a busy main road. I know there's musical links to the property but I'd have thought maybe 2.75ish? It needs modernising.

It's not really a busy main road.... But house prices in MH are crazy expensive. It's £800k for the two bed flats on my street.

For £2.7 million you’d be looking at 3000 sq feet.

I'd buy it for the three piece suite alone

It’s got 8 bedrooms and 3 receptions rooms plus large garden so doesn’t surprise me at all. 3/4 bedroom houses over £2 million around here and it’s not such a desirable area.

8 beds, decent garden and lots of square footage in a premium area in London. I’m not surprised.

It's probably partly because you're guaranteed to get into Fortismere Secondary school, the catchment area is relatively small so the houses that are on Fortismere's doorstep tend to cost more.

It's really big and there simply aren't that many houses of that size in MH. It is a busy road though.

The house has got links to the group Fairport Convention, the house is called Fairport. I wouldn’t pay that much to live there, you could get much nicer.

Used to walk past this house once a week on way to a music lesson! MH is my dream place to live in London (I lived Bounds Green for about 1/2 of the price of rents in MH), not surprised it's that much. It's a massive house in highly desirable area. I wouldn't want this one tho!

I want to know how they shut the blinds in the bedroom?! With a massive fish hook type thing?!

It’s huge, on a big plot, detached and in a prime area. Will probably be converted into flats though.
