EICR qualifications needed?

Hi, I’m going to need an EICR done (for private house sale).
Bit confused regarding qualifications?
A local electrician I’ve had recommended is on the Registered Competent Person Scheme website.
It says “Yes”under registered for Installation but “No” for Inspection. The scheme they’re on is NICEIC. Is this a suitable company for the EICR? TIA

A competent electrician can do an EICR. The NICEIC like you to have additional qualifications (and an extra cheque) to perform EICRs. Other scheme providers such as NAPIT and NICEICs approved list should be able to do it.
