Party wall agreements

Help please! Semi detached house. Our neighbours are currently having a huge extension incl loft. They gave us a party wall agreement - all fine. We are (at very short notice) going to use the same builders to do our loft conversion. They could start as soon as next week (various benefits to doing both lofts at the same time) - do we need a party wall agreement to give to neighbours? Clueless….

You'll need to talk to a party wall surveyor I think. Only use one myself, paid for by neighbour, as they were building an apartment complex. Good luck

Tell them you'd like a survey done to protect both of you if there is a dispute over damage. They have to pay the surveyors fees.
