Exploding double glazed unit

Had new upvc sliding sash windows installed approximately 5 weeks ago. Today, whilst DH was plastering a small area under the window, the outside lower panes popped and crazed. Any idea what might have caused this and what do we do now? 😭

Surely they are under guarantee?! Call the company who installed them

Just notify the installers; this is not unknown in new DG panels ( probably a factory stress fault) and ours replaced the unit with no question or charge.

Thank you, DH is contacting the installer. Was just a bit of a shock when it went and I heard him yelling! Thought he’d injured himself!
