Bedroom colour inspiration

North facing bedroom in a 6 year old new build. I've had sample paints on my wall for 3 years and now just need to crack on but really can't decide.
What colour would you use if you were decorating now?

If it's north facing I would go for something with a warm undertone. Blush pink or peach are quite trendy at the moment or maybe a sage green?

I would avoid Grey's and blues because they will be too cold.

Definitely get testers as colours will look really different in the cool light.

F&B Pegnoir is a lovely grey pink

Have a look at Dunelm Warm Sand.
My sister has it in her darkish house and it looks fantastic. Also she said it went on beautifully and wasn't expensive.

I’ve gone fairly basic with colours. Paint from Little Greene - Loft White on woodwork and Portland Stone on the walls.

I then switch it up twice a year. Warm coloured curtains and bedding for autumn winter. Duck egg blue curtains and bright/fresh coloured bedding for spring/summer. Stops me feeling bored of the decor.

Terracotta / reddish walls will bring out the warmth in a north facing room

I'd personally go dark as white will just look dingy no matter what you do! Mine is dark green and it feels nice and cosy.

Light Peachblossom from Little Greene is a lovely dusky pink, could look lovely in a bedroom.

For a north facing room you have to fight against the blueness of the light. Just think warm colours, some pink, orange, yellow to breathe some life into it. We have a west facing room so dark in the mornings, and went for a lovely lust home wallpaper behind the headboard and picked up the colours in the rest of the room. We love it after years of insipid white bedrooms.
