Is there anything else like the Ikea kitchen planner?

Its drawback is that it only allows you to place Ikea products, so I can't, for example, make a corner larder or a fold-out larder, or customise cupboards to make them even shallower than standard wall cupboards.

Is there anything that uses different ranges or allows more customisation?

If it allowed complex room layouts, that would also be excellent. I'm planning a kitchen dinner that includes an extension, so my room is two rooms slightly offset but linked by a 2.5m wide arch. It would be good to be about to visualise them as one space.

I found the DIY kitchen planner great though still limited in terms of furniture etc, would be perfect f planning a smaller kitchen. We were reconfiguring two rooms into one so floor planner was invaluable in determining the overall layout and feel of the room but less useful in terms of technical kitchen set up. floorplanner.com
