We recently bought our property and found a cable from a nearby power line enters our garden by approximately 1m ( it was hidden by the shed by the previous owner) we also have power lines going directly over a portion of our garden.
I've contacted the relevant network company and they have given us two options, either an annual wayleave agreement or a deed of grant/easement.
Has anyone got experience in this and is one option better than the other? I understand the differences between them at face value. For context this isn't our forever home as we'd like a bigger garden but we are planning on staying for 5+ years before selling.
