Underfloor heating suddenly feels very warm

I have wet underfloor heating under a tiled floor. Usually once it heats up it feels warm but not that warm. But tonight it feels a lot warmer to the touch than usual. It’s been on since around 1.30 pm. Could it be that because it’s cold tonight it’s just been going for longer to reach the thermostat temperature so the tiles have heated up more? I always worry about anything being different…

I envy you.
We had to switch off our underfloor LAST winter so of course couldn't afford it this year. We are cold.
If it's very cold and you're thermostatically controlled it's likely to produce what you're saying which is a false feeling but just such a contrast. Please login to your daily energy bill and make sure it's stable as if there's an issue or could be costing you £££ daily.

Thanks - I will keep an eye on it.
