First floor extension

We've just had planning permission granted to add a second storey to our bungalow. We'll be doubling the floorspace so looking at prefabricated extensions but I'm struggling to get quotes as I don't know who to approach. Google isn't throwing much up and I don't personally know anyone who's gone down this route.

Can anyone suggest a company that might be able to help? We're in Scotland.

We are in a similar situation and looked at this - try googling timber framing companies. Someone came round and quoted based on our architects drawings. (Didn't proceed in the end though)

Why prefabricated? Cannot see why it has to be. You may well need foundations strengthened. Or extra strength structural walls. Have you actually had the structure assessed by a structural engineer?
