Are we going to have a crash? They say it goes around in cycles and that we might be due a crash soon. It’s been so high and with cost of living something must have to give surely?

Unless people really have to sell their homes they won't be selling them at crash prices, whatever that is. They will be staying put and ride it out. Demand also overwhelms supply in this country. I envisage it being like Hong Kong in the future.

I expect a modest correction, not a crash. No government can speed us all being plugged into negative equity.

I lost 50K on my flat when I sold in 2008 as I was moving overseas. I'm not sure why anyone is gleefully awaiting for if to happen again. It took me years to get myself stable financially.
