have decided to upgrade worktops - they are sold wood and I hate them - they are ever clean and need sanded and oiled all the time. The new worktops will be concrete grey. I have a multicoloured rug that will go with anything. So we have the kitchen area with worktop separating and then a dining room. I want both rooms to be separate colours. I need them to complement each other. I also have a grey or green chair in the dining area next to what is supposed to be a fire area but but looks like a long white unit. Ideas much appreciated.
