Gas oven safety?

Does anyone know if this flame in my gas oven looks normal? It's mainly blue but has this yellow/orange bit too. I keep reading that the flame being orange or yellow is dangerous but I can't work out if they mean ALL yellow/orange.

It should all be blue, it's likely part of the burner is slightly blocked so the mix of gas/air isnt right. It's likely a carbonised food remnant and could be cleared if cleaned carefully.

Assuming you have a carbon monoxide alarm I wouldn't panic

It's probably dirt in the flame holes (technical term) probably from something you've cooked.

Can also mean the quality of the gas coming though today isn't as pure, it ranges between certain tolerances

I assume your co3 monitor hasn't gone off?

Thanks! I've just checked and there was something there , looked like a bit of grey ash , that I've managed to clean off. It's burning all blue now. I've not had a gas oven before so I'm a bit nervous of it!
