A white paint that isn't so stark and clinical?

DH refuses to paint our new build kitchen in any colour but the white it is currently is so stark and cold. Has anyone else had this dilemma and found a solution? We don't want cream, but is there a white that looks clean and minimal but not so cold and sterile! Thank you!

Earthborn White Clay is a lovely, soft white.

I have Little Greene Shirting and it’s lovely.

I also have Johnstone’s Trade White (which is white without the brighteners that are added to brilliant white) and I have to say it’s pretty similar at a fraction of the cost! Not quite the same, Shirting is a little tiny bit warmer but depends on your budget.
