Shower dripping even when off

Hi,

We had some grouting done and a shower fixed back onto the wall, but now the shower won’t stop dripping. The guy said it’s nothing to do with him and big showerheads always drip, but taking it off and cleaning it up we can see that the constant drip is coming from the pipe.

Any ideas what it could be? The constant dripping noise is driving us crazy!

Our shower also drips. We have a valve that screws on between the hose and the shower head. It no longer drips, which is definitely a win! They're called shower head shut off valves, ours looks like this, though I can't vouch for this model:

what kind of hot water systemdo you have?
some drip vent (?) via the showerhead.
