I just wondered what the current options are for an external wall and what thickness the wall would need to be? E.g. do walls need to be cavity walls or is there an option for a solid wall with extra insulation on the inside (or outside)? Just trying to get my head around how thick external walls have to be now? Is there a minimum thickness that would comply with building regulations (for a single storey extension)? Thank you!
