I'm having vinyl in my extension and the fitter has offered me several options to choose from.

I'm in a 1930's bungalow - do you think a parquet design would 'date it' too much?

Have what you like. Presumably you are not styling it for Homes and Gardens (and they might like it, anyway)

Thank you! Fitter has just turned up unexpectedly and I've chosen something floorboard like instead that will go better with the kitchen tiles. Kitchen tiles are stuck onto concrete so hard to remove, I'll be getting a nice rug on top :)
