Boiler thermostat gone wonky

Was using remote thermostat to control heating somewhat but after a shocking winter energy bill have made some adjustments. Turned most radiators right down except for bedroom & hall. Turned heating and hot water down on boiler itself and tried setting timer as per these instructions

www.vokera.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/Vision-Combi-25-30C-User-Installation-and-Servicing-manual.pdf

But since I did all that it seems the remote thermostat control thingy is now not working as it was and if I have the boiler on the heating is automatically coming on.

I've thermostat set to 10° display days temp in flat 18° but heating still on radiators hot/warm.

I want to go back to being able to control via remote thermostat

No idea what I have done wrong and kicking myself somewhat now

Can anyone help?

Is it wired to the boiler, or wireless?

If it's the latter, have you tried taking the batteries out of the thermostat and putting them back in (basically the equivalentof turning it off and on again)?

^ also does the thermostat have a make/ model number on it? It looks like it should have separate instructions to the actual boiler.
