The rental property market is so stressful, that I paid a deposit on a flat this morning that I wasn’t 100% sure about, but was scared I wouldn’t find anything else (after months of searching).
This morning I got contacted about two other places that would suit me much better - space, move in date, etc.
Did anyone ever do this? And get their deposit back? I suspect not! But I know someone else will take the flat I put a deposit on very quickly and easily. (The agent pushed for me to put in a deposit asap as they had another offer that they hadn’t put forward yet or something like that.)
