Washing machine. Very

On their washing machine it says non refundable under approval guarantee once connected and installed.
So what happens if it doesn't work when you try it?

Who do I ask you install a washing machine? If I'm buying it from somewhere that doesn't offer that?
A plumber?

If it is faulty and doesn't work when it is first plumbed in, then you contact the organisation you bought it from.

A plumber can plumb in a washing machine, yes, but often it is a case of attaching a red hose to a red pipe and a blue hose to a blue pipe. Do you have washing machine plumbing already?

I have a washing machine in at the minute yes.
But I can't get it out.
And I don't think I'd be able to get this new one in either

If you think it’d going to be tricky to remove and replace I’d get someone like AO to do it. I’ve always found them very good at fitting stuff. They can take the old machine and all the packaging too.

Ive recently ordered a new washing machine from Amazon who will disconnect and fit for just £21 quid including tss as king the old machine. They only fit freestanding appliances though. I’m assuming yours is integrated.

No it's freestanding

The cheaper ones on AO all seem to be out of stock. Not that they're that cheap anyway

This one on Very I think will take the old one and install new one, I think.
But I'm not if I still need to disconnect this old one for them?
I can't even get it out!

If they offer installation they will disconnect the old one but they won't remove any surrounding units etc that block it in.

If you're saying you can't get it out because it's heavy and awkward they will be prepared for that.

I got called to do one recently because of a leaky sink had swollen the units and wedged the machine in place, it came out with a bit of persuasion but the delivery team gave it a few tugs and gave up.
That said they wouldn't have done it anyway because the isolation valve was faulty and wouldnt shut the cold feed off.

If you're pipework is all in place you don't need a plumber. It's well within the capabilities of any reasonably handy person.

Cold water feed connection hand tight
Flexible waste pipe into 40mm waste and secured.
Turn on isolation valve and check for leaks.
Plug in, push into place and away you go

Just to add if they abandon trying to remove the old one check they removed the transportation bolts from the new one (they should but worth checking) before fitting

I got mine with AO this week - they were the only ones I found who expressly said they disconnect freestanding. I was going to go with Argos but when I checked the fine print you had to disconnect yourself, even if you paid for installation and recycling. So if you know you need help with disconnecting make sure they definitely do it.

For some odd reason curry’s don’t even deliver to us anymore (central London).
