About three weeks ago I noticed a wet patch on one of our downstairs walls, just below a toilet. Got a plumber in, yes small leak he said and fixed it. The wall downstairs appeared to be drying until a week later when the patch got bigger, plumber came back out double checked the toilet which he assured me was no longer leaking and said it must just be left over water inside the walls that was seeping out at different rates.
Thing is the patch is still there, it's in our utility which we haven't painted so very visible on bare plaster. It's slightly larger in the morning until I whack the dehumidifier on high and use the tumbler (room is small so heats up a lot) then it almost completely recedes.
Any ideas? Seems like a long time for it to be drying out but the plumber said the toilet is definitely fine. He said just to wait it out for a bit but I'm worried about how much damaged might occur in the mean time.
