Does it need doing? Will it cost £15000?
If the answer to both of those is yes, drop the price.
Or get some quotes yourself and put forward an alternative amount

Did they show you their quote to justify the 15k?
Or the survey? 15k sounds like a lot considering there are hardly any material costs involved.
Scaffolding or a tower being the most expensive bit.

Thanks for your response yes it definitely needs doing

£15,000? 😮
Either it is a massive wall with big scaffolding problems, and/or it has difficult joints (like ours, which are very, very thin) or someone is taking the whatsit.
I'd get a quote or two myself and compare. Only an experienced brickie can say if it is fair or not.

Ye the side flank wall the brickwork reaches right to top of loft and is very high and bricks and some bricks are very damp .it’s all to do when a few years ago the government decided to give a contractor to put in insulation in cavity walls and they didn’t do proper checks that’s what caused it . I have been intouch but they won’t listen .but thanks for feedback
