Recommend me an alarm company

Our house insurance requires us to have a monitored alarm. We’ve been with ADT for years, but find both their system and service to be rubbish and they would now like to charge us £600 a year. We know we could instal a (better) system ourselves but that won’t comply with our insurer.

We're with Verisure. They drive me nuts. Crap system that doesn't warn you the batteries are running out until they set the Sharman off st 2am. Every single bloody time.

We tried all the mains ones and found them crap. Had someone local come and look at the house and tell us what he thought would be best and we went for Hikvision. Not to everyone's liking because of the fallout with China but I've found it much better than what we had previously (Verisure and ADT).

Don't know about monitored, but our Yale system and Yale contact is good. Ours isn't monitored but annual service is I think around £150 or so and no issues.
