Just been quoted 3500 for 25 square metres of rendering , Is that expensive? North East , thanks

Roughly £40/m2 here but varies hugely depending on the amount of prep needed and whether scaffolding will be required

No scaffolding required, just ground floor back of house, think quote is quite excessive

Does it include removal of old render?

Seems a little bit on dear side to me. A friend just paid a little over 2k for what id say looks like approx 15-20sqm.

Certainly more than I would charge but then maybe that's why I'm not driving a shiny new van 😖

Certainly worth getting other quotes, many trades will put in a silly price if they don't really want the work
