roof slating

Hi doe anyone know if it is ok to reuse old slates by turning them over to expose the clean side? With them correctly chamfered.

Yes, a good roofer will be well able to do this and if a slate isn't good enough to do this will discard.
You won't get 100% of the slates ok to re-use but a high majority (unless that's already been done previously)

Yes you can because they're still perfectly good slates
